Why? The average person has less disposable income than they did just three years ago and tough decisions must be made to insure that they can “stay afloat” financially.

Phone Service

Nobody needs more than one phone, especially if it’s a family with two adults and two small children. Every person who is either renting or owns their home should consider cutting their home phone in favor of a VOIP service like Skype or ACN.
With a VOIP phone service you can make more calls for less money every single month and you will also have the flexibility to make calls anywhere, to any country especially to Europe or France.

Electricity

You can’t cut your electric bill because, you need electricity every month. What you can do to save money on electricity in your home is the following:
• Buy energy saver appliances. ($500 per year savings)
• Get energy efficient light bulbs then install them. ($30 per month savings)
• Weatherize your home by replacing weather stripping under doors, caulking around windows and adding new base boards.
• Turn appliances like computers and TV’s off at night when you’re not using them.

Depending on where you live, you might be paying over $1000 a month for your home. It is time to create a new business to help with your costs.

Figuring out the perfect home business for you

You should think about what you love to do, or something that you are a huge fan of. Those two items together will help you form an idea of a home-based business. You should make notes of what you think would work, and also keep in mind a timeline. You need to set goals that are scheduled, so that you can get your home-based business started.

The financial aspect of your business

Financial records are going to be essential in any business that you ever choose to run. A merchant express account is going to be a key player in maintaining your immaculate records. No matter what it is always important that you take care of your financial records to the best of your ability.

Once you have gotten established you will get yourself into a routine of daily things to do to make sure your home-based business is a success

During these tough economic times more and more people within the United States are taking advantage of Section 8 housing. This Federal Entitlement is for any renter who is tired of taking out payday loans after loans to pay their rent every single month or working more than one job. Thanks to Section 8, any renter or family that makes $25,800 per year or less qualifies for Section 8 Housing.

A Long Waiting List

Due to the economic crisis more and more people across the country are applying for the Section 8 program and there are now long waiting lists across the country. For example: in Chicago over 2,500 families are on the Section 8 waiting list and there is often a lot of competition when new vouchers become available.

The sad thing about Section 8 is that just because millions of people across the country may qualify for it that doesn’t mean that the average family will always receive their voucher.

How to Get Accepted Faster

Even though the waiting list is long in many states the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) sometimes does pass out vouchers to people on the list faster based on the following factors:

Age – People who are over the age of 62 sometimes receive quicker approval than younger people who are on the waiting list.

Veteran – Any person who is a veteran or is currently serving their country in the military will get approved faster than non-military personal.

Over worked – HUD knows that it’s rough out there and sometimes people have to work more than one job to pay their rent. For those people who are working over 42 hours per week they will receive faster approval than other people on the list who work less.

Homeless – If someone who is on the waiting list is homeless, this is another factor that can lead to receiving a voucher and getting into a home.

You Won’t Have To Wait Forever

For those people who are on the Section 8 waiting list it may seem like they have to wait forever but the reality is that wait on the waiting list isn’t as long as they think it will be. HUD’s goal is to always exhaust the waiting list as quickly as possible.

Section 8 is only for people who have extremely low incomes such as those who have had to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy. If you’ve been on the waiting list for a long time and haven’t been approved yet you should contact your Section 8 worker to make sure that your paperwork was filed correctly because sometimes errors on paperwork can slow down the approval process.

Thanks to new legislation, California is now making it illegal for residents to light up in affordable housing projects as well too.

The Wave of the Future

Studies have shown that the average resident of an affordable housing project would prefer to live in a home where smoking is not allowed. Even though this might not be good news for residents who already live in affordable housing projects, they can still satisfy their nicotine cravings thanks to electronic cigarettes.
An electronic cigarette is a small device that uses e-liquid, a mixture of nicotine and water. Once a smoker turns the e-cigarette on they will get a small burst of e-liquid in a mist and the tip to the ecig will glow red just like a real cigarette.

A Smokeless Cigarette

Unlike traditional cigarettes, e-cigs don’t produce any smoke and they can be enjoyed anywhere, even in the comfort of home without the fear of breaking any of the rules or regulations that come with affordable housing.

Fortunately, with today’s economy, there are ways of finding almost anything at an affordable price. It’s called the Internet.

Craig’s List, Amazon and E-bay

If you’re not sure what one of today’s modern sofas looks like, type it into a search engine and select images. This will give you an idea of what a modern sofa not only looks like but whether or not the style is going to fit in with the rest of the room. Then again you can always build the rest of the room around the modern sofa. Now that you know what a modern sofa looks like, go on discount websites to search for the ideal piece of furniture.

Does Anyone Actually Shop In Stores Anymore?

The answer is yes, people do actually hoof it through malls and around huge, warehouse furniture stores. Once again, those pictures that you looked up on the Internet of modern sofas might come in handy. Printing a couple of your favorites on a piece of paper and having it with you when you shop is a great way to stick as close to the design that appealed to you as possible.

Shipping can of course be a problem so you may need to shop within your area or be prepared to pay some serious shipping costs. People do it however.

There’s nothing more frustrating than having to deal with an unexpected bill, car repair or household repair, especially when you’re in between pay periods.

When there’s more money left than the end of the month where do you get the extra funds to pay for those necessities? The simple solution to the problem would be to ask a friend or a family member for a short term cash loan but in this day and age many people are in the same position economically which makes this solution a thing of the past.

It’s Time to Consider a Payday Loan

Payday loans have been around in some form for decades and have become more popular in recent years as it’s gotten harder and harder for average people to gain access to short term funds. Thanks to Payday loans any person with a full time job and a checking account can take out a payday loan and borrow up to $300.00 or more to pay for household repairs or unexpected emergencies.

How To Find A Payday Loan Location

The easiest way to find a payday loan is to look online for payday loan companies in your local area. Just type in the keywords “payday loan” in your search engine and you should have a list of at least five or more payday loan companies to choose from.

How to Sign Up for a Payday Loan

Checking account statement – This will prove that you have an active checking account.

Your banks toll free number – The payday loan company might call your bank to verify that you are paid every two weeks. It’s best to have this phone number ready just in case they request it.
Last paycheck stub – This will prove that you are still employed and are paid every two weeks.

Company phone number – Before being approved the payday loan company might call your employer to verify that you’re still currently employed there. This is a common step that they will only have to do once.

In today’s technologically advanced world many career counselors encourage people to choose careers working with computers or some form of technology because “that’s where the money is at” but few career counselors encourage people to choose architecture careers..

Why Architecture?

As an architect you will have the opportunity to work in a career where you can make a difference in the community and world that you live in by playing a part in the design and construction of new buildings that will be constructed around the country or world.

Architecture careers is never boring; it’s a profession where you will constantly be met with creative and challenging obstacles to overcome on a regular basis. Besides being challenged you will also be able to work in an environment with men and women who love their jobs and thrive working in a creative, fast paced environment.

Make A Difference With Attainable Housing

Over the last twenty years, home ownership has quickly become a thing of the past thanks to many homes that are priced well beyond what an average working class individual can afford. It’s also gotten harder to rent in many cities around the world and this lack of affordable or attainable housing has sent many people away from cities that they grew up in to other towns and cities that offer affordable housing.

Thanks to the leadership initiatives of the Obama Administration many new homes, condos, and apartments are being constructed in the United States that are within the reach financially of people who want to buy or rent.

Architects are playing a major role in the development of attainable housing because they get to be a deciding factor in what affordable materials are chosen plus consult with owners during the building process to insure that a new home, condo or apartment buildings construction costs are kept low so that savings can be passed onto future owners or renters.

In the aftermath of a societal event as earth-shaking and unfortunate as divorce, there are a number of serious decisions to be made, often within a very small window of time. Of those, one’s future housing arrangements one of the most important, as it is the most expensive, and most difficult to undo. Some social commentators suggest that the first move a person should make, if at all possible, is back into their parents’ home; it usually makes for a temporary haven in a safe environment.

Which Way to Go

Of course, not everyone lives in the same town as their families, or has both parents alive and in an acceptable domicile. For those who have no family wings under which to seek shelter, renting is usually the first option for someone who is fresh out of a failed marriage. Sometimes this means living in an apartment – usually one not far from their place of employment – which means signing a six-month lease or longer.

The Downsize of Life

If one is downsizing from a single-family home, apartment living can be a challenge, if only because of the change-up in routines. It may not be feasible, for instance, to move a 10-piece sectional sleeper sofa into an apartment that may not be any bigger than a thousand square feet (something to bear in mind if one is picking out new furniture – you’re limited to the things that fit). If you plan on moving your house-sized items into a new home fairly quickly, it might make sense to rent some storage space.

Many apartments also have community laundry facilities, which can be either extremely convenient (if all the machines are open) or otherwise (if they’re not). You may or may not have a dedicated, or even covered, parking space, but if you find the right place to live, you might have access to a nice pool and/or hot tub. Finding the positives and using them to offset the negatives can only help you on the road going forward.

This process of managing data was often wrought with problems and often resulted in lost or missing files.

Thankfully, data management changed forever with the invention of enterprise content management programs that have enabled businesses of all sizes to streamline their data management and help employees to work together more effectively.

Unlike other programs that can only work in a business environment, enterprise content management programs work well for a wide variety of personal uses.

How To Use Enterprise Content Management When Searching For Housing Search

When you choose an enterprise content management solution you will be able to easily manage your appointments in one scheduling format, manage files created in Microsoft Word or your favorite office programs, scan and manage new paperwork that was given to you by realtors, manage financial data and stay on top of all the little details that can come with buying or renting a home.

How To Choose An Enterprise Content Management System

In today’s world there are a wide variety of systems available for content management. If you use Microsoft programs like Outlook, Word and Excel the program that you should consider using is Microsoft SharePoint 2010. This program integrates well with all Microsoft Office programs and will save anyone who is searching for a home a lot of time and money.

Some of the other enterprise content management systems that you should consider using are: SpringCM, Adobe’s CQ WCM, Alfresco and Amaxus.

When To Consider A Cloud CMS Solution

If you’re not the type of person who loves installing new software on your computer then spending the time learning how to set it up then you should consider using a cloud Enterprise Content Management System.

Even though the name sounds fancy, a cloud content management solution is a CMS that’s hosted on another server. This means that you don’t have to invest time and money in loading software on your server and learning how to use it. Almost every cloud CMS solution is easy to use and comes ready to go from the first time that you start using it.

Section 8 was written to assist low income homeowners and renters as a federal housing program. The assisted recipient’s monthly rent is limited in order to be affordable. If you are not low income (below 50% of the area median income) you will not qualify.

If you’re the Landlord

If you are renting one of your units to someone who is section 8 you still need to do a thorough check of them as you would with a possible tenant who is not receiving federal assistance. The Housing Authority will assist you in your endeavor by sharing any information that they have on the applicant with you the landlord. Do not rely on the Housing Authority however to furnish you with all the information needed to determine whether or not the possible future tenant is a good fit. For example, if information that the applicant gives you conflicts with the information that the Housing Authority gave you on this applicant, you have a big problem. Someone’s handing out false information. Things also get a little touchy when it comes down to discrimination if you’re renting to someone who is section 8.

If you are the Applicant

Expect to answer any number of questions posed to you. Here are just a few examples: how often do you get paid and when; how do you intend to raise money for the rent; social security number and name; have you had any complaints filed against you or been evicted; how many people will be renting here; have you been involved in gang activity or any other illegal activities in any residence within which you have lived; where have you lived before and for how long at each residence; where are you currently living and how long have you been there?

If you are a landlord don’t allow yourself to be taken advantage of by the housing authorities. Know the laws.

If your think that you have been wrong get a Columbia Missouri personal injury attorney, today.
